FAQ's when hosting:
1) Do we need to provide housing? Yes. There are a few options for this. Spirit Wind has stayed in school gyms, church fellowship halls or Sunday School classrooms. Some churches have opted to reserve hotel rooms at a local hotel or bed and breakfast. We are also open to houses that can sleep 8 or more youth of the same gender plus one or two sponsors.
2) Do we need to provide a meal? Please. We travel with hungry teenagers and there isn't anything better than a good ole' church potluck. We are not picky, but we do ask that a meal be provided for the group before the concert.
3) Do we provide breakfast the next morning? Some churches enjoy providing a breakfast for the group the next morning. If we are in a hotel, many times there is a hot continental breakfast for the youth. We are not picky. Again, we have hungry teenagers. They will eat whatever and whenever. This is left up to the church. We are mostly just grateful for the chance to come to your church and community to worship and fellowship with you.
4) Will you send out information regarding the concert? Yes, we will send you information for the concert, information to promote the concert, a contract with specifics, and housing information for your housing coordinator. We now do a majority of this over the internet to help speed up the process and to allow you to print anything you might need.
